Lot 1008 UNIDENTIFIED VINTAGE .22 CALIBER SINGLE SHOT PEN
GUN. Cal. 22. S# IRS 2906. Bbl. 1 5/8". Unidentified .22 caliber single shot pen gun of unknown origin. Pen gun is virtually unmarked, save for the "IRS2906" S# which was applied a the time of registration. Body and bbl. are comprised of steel, featuring a blue finish. Steel firing pin, threaded firing pin handle, and pocket clip are polished in-the-white. Bbl. features a knurled band at the rear to assisting in loading. CONDITION: body and bbl. retain large amounts to the majority of their original blue finish, exhibiting light to mild wear and thinning that is showing through to gray patina, with scattered superficial handling marks present overall. In-the-white parts show some scattered spots of age related discoloration. Mirror bore, exhibiting a couple of small spots of apparent light pitting, while retaining good rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. An unusual and intriguing pen gun that warrants additional research. NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT AOW REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION. FULLY TRANSFERABLE.
